Who's the hero?

I recently accepted an invitation to receive an award from the Heartland Chapter of the American Red Cross. The actual luncheon is in April 2010. The award is for being a “Heartland Hero”. Now many of you who read this blog know me pretty well. And I doubt “hero” would come to the top of many minds if asked to describe me. So what did I do to deserve this honor?
