If you’ve purchased a new bike in the past 20 years, chances are you have 700c wheel on a road bike, or 26″ wheels on a mountain bike or cruiser. For a period in the late 70s and into the early 80s, 27″ was a popular wheel size on road bikes in the US and British market.
