One of the 2 fawns during a well deserved runabout near it's mum. It will lose the white spots in the coming weeks
@Vinttitonttu @WaterVole @norfolkwren The mum thought buttercup flowers sweet for sure - she eats at least 15,000 every day !
The 2nd twin just got fed, obscured by some fencing, and moved by the doe. Both fawns bedded down nearer me now.
Just nailed some fawn close-ups at last. But missed the brief suckling - had to reposition myself for clearer view.
The #Roe doe I'm watching in a #haymeadow is hoovering buttercup flowers. Haven't seen her twin fawns for 48 hrs now.
