A prequel to Jackson's Oscar-winning Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey tells the story of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he and a group of dwarves head to the Lonely Mountain to retrieve a piece of treasure from a giant dragon called Smaug. The film is the first of two movies, with the second half - The Hobbit: There And Back Again - to be released in 2013.
